PARIS EATERIES

Merci Jérôme Mouffetard: If you’re in the Latin Quarter, try to stop by this boulangerie early in the morning for their fresh Pain au Chocolat or Croissants aux Amandes.

Chocolat Chapon: Experts in chocolate and chocolate mousse, they serve chocolate mousse of different flavors and intensity in little cones so you can wander Rue du Bac with a little treat.

Jean-Paul Hévin: If you’re looking to satisfy your luxury taste palette with a rich and creamy chocolate, look no further! They also have the most perfectly baked macarons.

La Boîte aux Lettres: Located up in the streets of Montmartre, this Parisian eatery has that homestyle feel with elevated flavor profiles while keeping portions generous and costs low. Their poached egg with bacon and mushroom cream was fantastic!

Au Petit Fer à Cheval: *** Talk about a small restaurant! They only have a few tables and they make every space count. It feels like a neighborhood, local restaurant where you can say, “I’ll have my regular!” They have a pre-fixed meal option where you can choose an appetizer, an entree (limited) and dessert for a good price and their portions are generous too. I got the duck a l’orange, which was fantastic, juicy, tender and flavorful. Their creme brûlée was crisp at the top, but sweet and creamy in the bottom.

Restaurant Georgette: A fantastic, chic French restaurant by the Jardin du Luxembourg. I sat outside and had a great time eating delicious food and people watching. I started with the shrimp appetizer which was my favorite thing I ate during my whole vacation in Paris. The portion was small but it packed so much flavor! The mushroom risotto was also creamy and perfectly cooked. Both dishes played with different palates, texture and flavor profiles.
